David has over 25 years of extensive experience in sports medicine rehabilitation, manual physiotherapy techniques which includes diverse background in orthopedic, neurological, pediatric and geriatric care.
David enjoys the outdoor and has competed at a high level in endurance sports. He is also Co-Owner of Primal Quest Expedition Adventure Race Inc.

LARISA SLIPENKYJ
BSC (HON)
PT Resident
Larisa completed her BHSc at Western University in 2016 in Health Sciences. She studied physiotherapy at the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland and completed a BSc in Physiotherapy in 2019 with first class honours.
Larisa also received the student research award from the Irish Society of Charted Physiotherapists in her final year research project.
Larisa enjoys running, reading, and travelling.

THEO PARUSIS

Registered Massage Therapist (R.M.T)
Theo graduated from Sutherland-Chan, Teaching School of Massage Therapy in 1998. With 23 years of experience, he prides himself with helping clients regain and retain function in work, play, and rest. His massages are both therapeutic and relaxing by combining deep and specific massage techniques along with relaxing techniques to target pain and injury and help return the client to optimal health. He has extensive experience working with back and neck pain, sciatica, work-related tension, headaches, repetitive strain, chronic stress and a variety of other conditions and maladies. He uses Swedish massage, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, joint mobilizations, and hydrotherapy. He can also implement a home care program of stretching that will ensure the clients continued progress.
Theo has taught massage therapy for over 2 years, ran a student clinic in that time, and has been a part of the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario with the Inquiries, Complaints and Reports Committee for a 3 year term and a 3 year term Quality Assurance as a Peer Assessor.

CHRISTINE WATTS
RN
Clinic Manager
Christine has been a key person at Shelburne Physiotherapy for over 19 years. She obtained a Bachelor of Health Sciences degree from Humber College (1999) combined with a Registered Nursing degree from Georgian College (2001).
Christine also achieved a degree in palliative care and geriatrics from University of Guelph in 2001 with training in Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation and First Aid.

JASLEEN GREWAL
MPT | Registered Physiotherapist
Jasleen completed her Bachelor’s in Physical Therapy in India and went Master’s (Neurological) in from England. She has experience treating patients with a variety of orthopaedic and neurological conditions.
Jasleen has successfully worked with patients in both hospital and clinical settings, with a special interest in neurological rehabilitation, acupuncture and dry needling. She believes in empowering the patient to take charge of their health.

JILL POTTER-HELLMANN
Personal Trainer | Pilates Instructor
Jill has a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and a diploma in Recreation.
For almost 30 years, Jill has been a Personal Trainer and a Group Fitness Instructor.
She is certified as both a Pilates Mat and Pilates Reformer instructor. Jill has focused on the use of Pilates in post-rehabilitation, earning certification as a Post Rehabilitation PIlates Specialist.

LISA TRIMBLE
Office Manager
Lisa joined the Shelburne Physiotherapy Team in 2021.
She brings with her 8 years of experience supporting physicians in the community.
She enjoys greeting each and every client at the front desk and building individual relationships with each person. Lisa enjoys traveling and spending time with her family.

MEGAN LAMONT
BScKin (Hon), PTA
Kinesiologists/Physiotherapy Assistant
Megan graduated from Univ. Western Ont. and Georgian College with honours. She combines her academic knowledge and work experience in out-patient physiotherapy and long-term care facilities, she has gained knowledge and experience working with musculoskeletal injuries and degenerative conditions.
